Christy Martsolf, CRNP

Christy Martsolf is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner with almost 20 years of experience in Nursing. She started her career in the hospital working with patients after open heart surgery, where she gained a passion for education and lifestyle management to reduce readmission and improve holistic health. As a Practitioner, she focuses on Integrative Health approaches to wellness, which blend conventional and functional medicine to provide healthcare that is science and evidence based, while utilizing the innate mechanisms of healing that truly restore health.

Christy utilizes protocols that focus on finding the root cause of symptoms to bring about resolution of dysregulation and illness. She uses the lens of holistic wellness to see her patients as whole beings, not isolated body systems, which drives treatment plans and options for whole person flourishing. She offers knowledge and guidance in evidence based research, but respects the individual preferences of her patients in their own health management. Her goal is to assist her patients in making truly informed health decisions by understanding the outcomes of all options for treatment.

Christy believes that the most effective healthcare is often the most straightforward, once the root cause is identified. She is an advocate for whole and natural foods, daily and enjoyable movement, strong and vibrant community, serious and intentional spiritual life.

Christy has a special interest in adolescent healthcare, hormone regulation, women’s health, and holistic wellness throughout the lifespan. She sees patients from age 13 to end of life, and offers every patient the option of one hour visits with the intention of creating a patient-practitioner connection that only builds through trust and time. She is a wife, mother of three, and New Orleans woman at heart. She desires to offer healthcare that is individualized, dignifying to the human person, and serves to restore health.

She received her BSN from Marymount University and her MSN from Duke University. She is a certified FEMM (Fertility Education and Medical Management) consultant, and will soon offer FEMM cycle charting classes for those seeking a Natural Family Planning (NFP) method of tracking hormone health, fertility, and pregnancy prevention without exogenous hormones.

Christy accepts self-pay patients in addition to many insurance plans. See if Christy accepts your insurance.
